The location: Nestled just a stone’s throw away from the seaside in South Coogee, NSW.
The client: Professional newlyweds in their early thirties.
The brief: The clients requested our signature bohemian style and wanted to incorporate their collected treasures from around the globe into their decor. They wanted to make the best use of the natural light flooding into the home as well as highlight their spectacular ocean views.
The result: The style has a gypsy traveller vibe to it, which is reflective of the client’s lifestyle. A predominantly warm, neutral palette boasts layers of texture for interest and comfort. Black elements cleverly contrast against the light, airy tones to anchor the space and give greater depth, all whilst being framed by the expansive ocean view. Natural materials are the underlying theme - animal hides, leather, shells even fallen palm tree branches picked up from the coastline all marry together to form this very considered, layered and organic space.
